Questions

How does the profit calculator work?
You enter your yearly sales, gross margin and net profit margin, then pick a small change on each of twelve profit levers. The calculator shows the extra profit a year and over five years, with each change building on the ones before it.
What numbers do I need?
Three numbers from your last profit and loss: sales for the year before GST, gross margin (what is left from each sale after materials or stock) and net profit margin (what is left after every cost). Your best guess is fine to start.
Why does it only count 80% of each change?
To keep the result realistic. Not every change lands in full, so every pick is counted at 80%.
What are the twelve profit levers?
Cut costs, a market-dominating position, a compelling offer, increasing prices, upselling and cross-selling, bundling, downselling, additional products and services, alliances and joint ventures, drip campaigns, more leads, and digital marketing.
Is the calculator free, and is my information saved?
It is free. Nothing is saved unless you ask for your report, and then your details are shared only with Micheal Parker so he can help you plan the next step.
What is the digital calculator?
The same idea for online growth: twenty-five digital levers, from being found on Google and by AI assistants to converting visitors and following up. It is at enableprofits.com/digital.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is an estimate to start a conversation about where the profit is in your business. Talk to your accountant about tax and financial decisions.
